Ciss Deaf Paralympics... Are They Only For Physically Disabled People? What About Deaf People?

Paralympics... are they only for physically disabled people? What about Deaf people? - ciss deaf

The reason this question is ... International Olympic Committee (IOC) olymp aids more ... Olympic level for the sporting community in general and Paralympic Games for the physically handicapped, the Special Olympics for people with learning difficulties, and so on.

For example, when the National Association of Sports for the Deaf in this African country is now a member of the ISSC (International Committee of Sports for the Deaf, I think) (deaf in common parlance) is fraught with obstacles of the National Paralympic Committees who insist that the combination of income and deaf, physically disabled and blind people to become members. Association of the Deaf requires separately, as they are with CISS Affliate. They see themselves, for the Paralympics.

CaN Anyone with knowledge of these (IOC), the problems of sport help to clarify the exact situation? Thanks

The Paralympic Games are a multi-sport event for elite athletes with physical disabilities. These include reduced mobility, amputees, visual disabilities and people with cerebral palsy. The Paralympic Games take place every four years after the Olympics, and are governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). (The Paralympic Games are sometimes confused) with the Special Olympics, which are only for people with intellectual disabilities.
